ROCHESTER — The Rochester Women's Club is hosting its annual Earth Day celebration this year with a town-wide street cleanup

Join the Women’s Club Saturday, April 20, rain or shine, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the family-friendly event.

The two starting points for the event will be the Rochester Women’s Club at 37 Marion Road and Your Life and Land at 136 North Ave. Gather with family and friends at either spot and grab a snack, water and coffee. Receive supplies, gloves and trash bags and leave full bags of trash by the side of the road.

There will be a dumpster in the Women’s Club parking lot for Rochester residents. Small items will be welcomed, and each family is allowed a few items — no more than two large garbage bags.

No electronics, appliances, paint, clothing, toxins, televisions, dehumidifiers, hazardous materials, metal or tires will be permitted. The dumpster will be monitored, and only allowed items will be accepted.
