MARION — The Watermelon Alligator Theatre Company returns to the Marion Art Center for a new improvisation workshop.

On Thursday, March 28 from 6:30 to 9 p.m., highly experienced theater practitioners Garrett Olson and Jess Wilson will conduct the workshop, a basic introduction course to the art of improvisation.

Attendees should dress comfortably and be prepared to move during the course, which will include beginner games and exercises that explore awareness, relaxation, observation, the senses, voice, and physicality. Participants are encouraged to bring questions.

The class is $35 for members and $45 for nonmembers. Register at marionartcenter.org/events.
