Memory Café for those with memory loss

Happenings

The Waterfront Memory Café is a weekly event provided by the Marion Council on Aging to provide activities for those with Alzheimer’s and dementia as well as to support their caregivers.

Lunch and activities are each Wednesday from 11:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at the Music Hall on Front Street. Parking is available across the street. The facility is handicap accessible.

There is no cost for any of the activities, though donations are accepted. Reservations are appreciated but not mandatory, and a caregiver must accompany all individuals. Rides are available for Marion residents, though anyone in the area is invited to attend.

Volunteers are also being sought.
