Music Association's Benefit Raffle returns

The Tri-County Music Association's Annual Benefit Raffle is returning!

The raffle benefits the John R. Pandolfi Scholarship Fund, which offers scholarships for college music majors, as well as summer study grants for high school students. Over the years, more than 100 students have received such awards for college study. For the past ten years, the Association was also able to offer summer music study grants to deserving high school students (grades 9 - 12). The Association awards $12,000 to young musicians each year.

The Annual Benefit Raffle, which wil be held on June 11th, is a major event to raise money for the scholarships. This year, there is a grand prize of $1,000.

Other prizes include an “Antique Flowers” Quilt ($800 value); four Premium Red Sox tickets, fur June 24, vs. LA Angels ($676 value); two season tickets to the New Bedford Symphony ($400 value); wine selection ($150 value) and 2 Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra tickets to a concert ($94 value).

The cost per ticket is $20. Tickets may be purchased at The Bookstall in Marion, The Symphony Music Shop in Dartmouth, On The Go in Mattapoisett and Hangman's Hut in Marion. Please visit http://tricountysymphonicband.org/ for more information.
