Marion — Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after two SUVs crashed in front of the Marion Police Station late Friday morning.

Police Chief Lincoln Miller said it appeared that the driver of a Chevy Tahoe made a left turn heading for Benson Brook Road and crossed in front of a Ford Escape headed West on Route 6. At least one airbag was deployed in the accident, and both vehicles had significant front-end damage.
