Have a spot of tea, see ‘Queen Elizabeth’ at Taber Library event

MARION — Join actress Sheryl Faye and the Friends of the Elizabeth Taber Library for a showing of the one-woman show “Her Majesty — Queen Elizabeth II” on Sunday, March 24 at the Marion Music Hall, 164 Front St.
The performance will be preceded by an afternoon tea at 3 p.m. featuring a selection of sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and preserves, and a variety of special sweets.
Tickets can be purchased from a member of the Friends or at the library for $40. Proceeds will benefit the Elizabeth Taber Library. Only 100 tickets will be sold, and are limited to those aged 12 and older. Accommodations for gluten-free meals and tables of four or six can be reserved by calling Paula Meere at 508-274-3195.
This will be the first performance of “Her Majesty — Queen Elizabeth II” in the area, said Friends of the Elizabeth Taber Library President Janet Wallace.
