Celebrate Salsa - April 1st!

It's High School Prom time, show your angst who's boss - learn to dance. Is there a bikini in your future, a gala, perhaps? Its Spring, what are you waiting for? Have you considered the health benefits of salsa dance? Time to get out and dance!

Wareham Dances, a program by Cultural Connection, Inc. with support from the Wareham Historical Society invites you to Celebrate Salsa, this Saturday night, April 1st. a night of Latin dancing in our new location at 495 Main St. in Wareham, the Old Methodist Meeting House.

Lessons begin at 6:45 followed by social dancing until 10:00. Suggested donations are as follows: Adults - $12. Seniors & Students (Valid ID for high school & college required) - $8. A one year membership to the Cultural Connection, Inc. is free with the first admission donation of the year. Members are entitled to special deals and discounts throughout 2017 at all Cultural Connection events including Fourth Saturday Contra Dances, the Free Onset Film Festival and the Onset Kite Festival. Champion dance instructors, Diane O'Day and Ryan Costa, from Paris Academy of Ballroom Dancing in Taunton, MA help you navigate the steps of this healthy, beautiful, and enchanting Latin dance forms of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and more.

This Cultural Connection program is brought to you in part by the Wareham Community Events Committee. We partner with Onset Bay Association, the United Way of Greater New Bedford, the Wareham Cultural Council, the Legal Center for Nonprofits of New Bedford and the Wareham Boys & Girls Club with major funding from Eastern Bank, Terry's Home Oil, Lindsey's Family Restaurant, Wareham Village Funeral Home, Cranberry Self Storage, Salerno's Seaside Function Hall and other local businesses.
