Marion — It's time for a happy Howl-O-Ween at Marion Animal Hospital.

The hospital recently ran a pet photo contest, featuring area animals dressed up in all their Halloween best. The winner of the contest, judged by the Animal Hospital staff, won an iPad, while the runner-up received an Amazon Fire. Both winners received a year's supply of Frontline Gold heartworm medication.

The runner up award was given to Brody, the cop dog, and his prisoner, Kiki the Persian cat. The duo are owned by Kristen Putignano of Wareham.

The winning submission was Rhonda, dressed as a pirate captain. Rhonda, a dachshund, is owned by Carl Wood of Wareham.
