Self-defense class May 10

Mattapoisett — Mattapoisett Recreation is hosting a self-defense technique class on May 10 from 6-9 p.m. at Center School.

The class is called F.A.S.T.T. E.S.C.A.P.E. which stands for fast aggressive strikes targeting trauma, every secound counts, avoid pre-attack encounter.

This training session was developed by Maj. Dwayne Fortes. The course is free, courtesy of Sheriff Joseph McDonald and the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department.
