Mattapoisett — Musicians of all ages gathered under one gazebo on Thursday, June 11 to serve Shipyard Park with melody.

Mattapoisett's Summer Concert Band delivered marching ballads, pop tunes, and what Conductor Jim Farmer described as "oldies but goodies" for the first of seven performances in the park this summer.

"Everyone has a great time," Farmer said.

A number of musicians from across the region, ranging from experienced players to sixth graders, performed under the gazebo.

The band will perform at Shipyard Park every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. through Aug. 29.
