MARION — After a battle of brains in topics like history, sports, music and local lore, a winner was crowned Friday, April 5 at the 3rd annual Lizzy T Trivia Bee.

The fundraising event was held in the Marion Music Hall and organized by the Elizabeth Taber Library Board of Trustees. More than $4500 was raised for the Elizabeth Taber Library.

“Team Fitzgerald” led by captain Katie Achilles and including Sally and Lou Gaglini, Franck and Stéphanie Gaudion, Karen McGinnis, Laurie Hebert and Andrew Bonney won the trivia competition.

A silent auction was also held during the event with many popular offerings from local businesses as well as the Marion Fire Department and Marion Police Department.
