MATTAPOISETT — Tri-Town Against Racism will be holding the fifth meeting of its “Community Conversation: Racism - Let's Talk About It” series.

The event is at the Friends Meeting House, 103 Marion Road in Mattapoisett, from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 27.

“In this open and inclusive dialogue, we'll come together to explore the complexities of racism, its impacts on individuals and communities, and how we can work collectively to create a more just and equitable society,” a Tri-Town Against Racism press release said.

The event “aims to provide a safe space for meaningful discussions, sharing personal experiences and learning from one another.”

“Whether you're new to these conversations or have been actively engaged in anti-racism work, your voice matters,” the release said. “Let's listen, learn and take meaningful steps towards building a world where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.”
