Fun Concert for Young Children at the Marion Art Center April 28!

Musician and early childhood educator Hugh Hanley.

For young children, the MAC is offering a fun concert with the engaging Hugh Hanley on April 28:

Circle of Songs with Hugh Hanley, Saturday, April 28, 3:00-4:00pm

Come join us at this singalong/playalong concert for young children (toddler and preschool age) and their families. It’s an hour-long program of songs, stories, finger plays and music activities that will keep children (and grown- ups too!) happily engaged. Hugh Hanley will have his guitar and banjo to lead us in some favorite children’s songs, and we’ll learn lots of great hands-on music/play activities, wonderful interactive fun for the whole family! This concert just received a significant ArtWeek grant from Music Drives, a New England nonprofit organization supplying grants to music programs designed to effect positive change for people of all ages.

Hugh Hanley is an early childhood educator and family entertainer who specializes in music/play programs for young children and the adults who sing with them. From his home in Arlington, Massachusetts, Hugh makes frequent visits to local schools, early childhood programs, libraries and concert venues, and also tours nationally. He is the producer and host of Songs from the Circle, which airs on local community access cable stations. Admission is free; registration is required.
